Synopsis : In the misty forests, Alberto, a solitary mushroom hunter, encounters Mycelia, a wild creature resembling a nymph. Despite their forbidden love, Mycelia belongs to the hidden world of the mycelium, Alberto defies fate to claim her as his own.
Director Bio : Director and producer from Emilia-Romagna. In 2018, she studied production at the New York Film Academy and founded the independent production company Scarabeo Entertainment starting to direct her first documentary, The Arch., shot on 4 continents, released theatrically by Adler Entertainment in September 2021 and now visible on Sky Arte. In 2021 she directed the docufilm La Moda del Liscio, among the winning projects of the Emilia-Romagna Film Commission’s regional call. The film was selected as a special event at the Bellaria Festival and won the “Doc/It Professional Award for Green Production” at the Torino Film Festival. Afterwards, she produced and directed her first feature fiction film “Mycelia”, a dark fairy tale.
