Synopsis : A decadent family from North Calcutta. Whose master is a man in his sixties. The man lives with a university-going daughter and physically challenged son. He owns a gramophone and radio repair shop. The shop is the only source of livelihood of such family. The ancestral home also kept getting out of hand due to lawsuits with relatives. Incidentally, the man's grandfather's son along with some anti-social elements of the area came one day to overthrow him along with his son and daughter and to ravish their lives. With prompt intervention by the police, the goons were arrested in time and by that time, the hapless family came to know about one hidden treasure there at thier home only. This film is a story of such oppressed peolple, who had their final smile against all oppression and calamity. Its also a story of lost days and cultural glory.
