Synopsis : Rufus, a young man who has lived in France since age 13, manages an old hotel in the rural areas of Perpignan with his uncle, Alpha. As summer begins, Alpha returns to Côte d'Ivoire to finalize a land sale, hoping to reinvest in the hotel business before passing it down to Rufus. Left in charge, Rufus and his girlfriend Monika look after the hotel, but unexpected developments during Alpha's journey disrupt their plans.

Director Bio : Clémentine Delbecq is a French director with a background in both filmmaking and screenwriting. Her films often depict nuanced relationships and the complex emotions that accompany them, drawing from her experiences within French and African cultural contexts. Fraya draws from her experiences in West Africa, reflecting cultural intersections between France and the Ivory Coast. Alongside filmmaking, Delbecq is also active in photography and film set design.
