Synopsis : Gloria (88) is a prominent Argentine artist and gallery owner. She is going through the most turbulent years: her husband, with whom she has been since her adolescence, decides to leave the country. While Gloria senses that the end is approaching, her mind and heart review the long road that brought her to the present.
Director Bio : Pablo César (b. February 26, 1962) is an Argentine director, producer, screenwriter, and film professor known for his pioneering co-productions with African and South Asian countries. He began making short films in Buenos Aires’ Super 8 scene in the 1970s and transitioned to feature films in 1983. His early works, like La sagrada familia (1988), critiqued power abuses during Argentina's dictatorship. He became the first Argentine to co-produce with India and led Latin American collaborations with African nations like Tunisia, Benin, and Morocco, exploring themes of mythology, postcolonialism, and cultural exchange. His films include Equinoccio (1991), Pensando en él (2018), and Macongo (2023). A proponent of "South-South Cooperation," César is celebrated for advancing independent cinema focused on cross-cultural dialogue.
